Hi friends! We’re Valerie & Jason. We share a love of family & friends, dogs, travel, camping, motorcycling & adventure.
This is our story…
Val & Jason were lucky enough to meet on a dating site. That day back in 2024, while Val was deleting her profiles, she noticed a new greeting from Jason and it caught her attention, so before deleting she sent a greeting back. They arranged a brief meet-up that turned into 4 hours! They both went home and deleted their dating profiles. Two weeks later, they were at Thanksgiving with his family, and two weeks later, in the Florida Keys together and they have been inseparable ever since.
Valerie has an American Staffordshire Terrier named Solaris (nicknamed Solo). Val adopted her from a bully rescue and credits Solo for rescuing her from an indescribable grief she was suffering after a devastating loss

Jason has a Labradoodle named Bella. Jason adopted Bella as a puppy and gives her credit for rescuing him after a failed relationship.
After both Val & Jason’s separate life changing events, they each moved to Florida. Val retired and bought a small mini camper, a motorcycle, and moved to a house with Solaris. Jason took a job in Florida, and moved his fifth wheel and motorcycle into an RV resort with Bella. It seemed the stage was being set, but they just didn’t know it yet. It all became crystal clear once they met.
Shortly after meeting, they discovered that they both enjoyed motorcycling, traveling and camping and that’s how their travel adventures began. Obviously they are both very attached to their babies. So when Val & Jason decided it was time to merge their lives, it presented a huge challenge bringing the dogs together. Unfortunately, due to Solaris’ past trauma, she does not like other dogs. After several attempts, it was obvious that the dogs were not going to make friends & live in harmony, so they had to get creative. They share those challenges throughout their blogs and social media. Val & Jason document the challenges and steps they’ve taken to keep them both safe and happy at home, as well as the creative ways they are able to travel with them both. They document their motorcycle rides & destinations, camping adventures & locations, and also their other travels on their social media pages.
